How are managing your stress bucket?

Think about the stress in your life like water in a bucket. Now think about recovery as a spigot on that bucket. We need stress to build a bigger, stronger bucket and recovery is what we use to let some of that water (stress) out of the bucket so it doesn’t overflow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Life is a constant filling and emptying of our stress bucket. If the bucket overflows for too long, we begin to feel burnout, it can lead to injuries, and at its worst, disease.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the contrary, if we have an empty bucket because we avoid the stress of life, our bucket will be weak and struggle to accommodate some of the most basic stressors of life. We need to have the right amount of stress ⚖️ to be resilient and able to handle unexpected life circumstances. And isn’t resilience just another word for fitness?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our Recovery Services at TS&H include sports massage and fascial stretching. Our goal is to help you find YOUR right balance of water (stress) in your bucket, and what type of recovery offers you the most return - because it’s different for each of us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our goal is to educate you about your stress/recovery bucket, figure out the safest way to fill up your bucket to build resilience, and teach you how to know when the recovery spigot needs to be turned on to balance things out. Contact us to start working on YOUR plan!
