Athlete Scholarship Application

We believe all athletes deserve to train.

Our scholarship program helps make that possible.

Because the coaching and services we provide are not financially accessible to everyone, we’ve created a scholarship program. Each scholarship awarded covers 12 weeks of training 3x per week (a $972 value). Athletes who are awarded this scholarship will have the opportunity to realize their athletic potential.

  • • Athletes 11 - 18 years old.

    • Athletes from families with a household adjusted gross income less than $79, 900 per year. You’ll be asked to provide your previous year’s tax return during the application process.

  • Why am I required to submit my tax return?

    This scholarship is designed to support athletes from families who don’t have the financial means to afford sports performance training. We need to be able to verify your income so that these scholarships are awarded to the youth athletes who need them most. This ensures we can maintain the integrity of the athlete scholarship program.

    Can I apply for the scholarship if I received one in the past?

    Yes. If you’ve been awarded an athlete scholarship in the past, you can apply again after you complete your 12 weeks of training.

    I have multiple kids. Will one scholarship cover more than one athlete?

    No. Scholarships are awarded on an individual basis. However, each of your kids can apply for a scholarship simultaneously.

    If I’m awarded a scholarship, will I get to choose my own start date?

    Yes, so long as you start training within 90 days of being awarded your scholarship. Once you start, your 12 weeks of training will run continuously (you can’t break up the 12 weeks).

  • We accept donations to our athlete scholarship program, and will match your donation dollar for dollar.

    If you’re interested in funding a full single scholarship, you would need to donate $486. We (Train Smarter + Harder) would match your donation at $486, which would cover the cost for one scholarship athlete to train with us 3x per week for 12 weeks.

    *** Donations to our athlete scholarship program are NOT tax-deductible at this time. However, you will be notified when an athlete is selected for a scholarship your donation contributed to.
